Our December value of the month is ‘ being charitable’, so this is a good time to remind you all about David.
2 years ago we chose to sponsor David, a boy from a Maasai village in Kenya, through his secondary school education. To do this we must raise £500 every year. I am pleased to share that, through the Christmas card designs and selling Christmas badges, we have already raised the funds for his 3rd year. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken part. We have also agreed to send a further £35 for study books that he can use at home when the school is closed for the holidays. In his recent letter he wrote, “I want to thank you for enabling me to go through secondary school because if it had not been for you, I don’t think I would have been able to go to school.”
