RSHE

The teaching of the RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education) framework became statutory in 2021. At Gayton, we consulted with parents prior to our launching of the programme and again in 2022 following a review of the first year. The information regarding both consultations and our policy can be found here. We work closely with parents to ensure all children can take part in these lessons and are included and that no children are withdrawn. We have also worked with our feeder infant and secondary schools to ensure our lessons fit in with prior learning as well as preparing them for their secondary education.
