DESCRIPTION:The admissions window opens on Friday 4th November for applications for places for children starting in Year 3 in September 2023 if they are moving from an infant to a junior school. If you have a child in Year 2\, please come and join us for a student-led tour of our school at either 10am or 2pm on Wednesday 23rd November. We are proud of both our school and our children\, who are always keen to show off their school and explain why they think coming to Gayton is the best decision you can make for your child! We will aim to return to school between 4pm and 4:20pm\, depending on traffic. We will be able to provide you with more accurate return estimates via ParentsApp on the day\, so please make sure you have signed up and you have your notifications turned ON! \n  \nOn the day\, the children will need the following: \n\nAppropriate clothing and footwear: A winter coat and wet-weather shoes or wellies\nA woolly hat\, scarf and gloves would be advisable\nMedications (medications to be given to class teachers by parents on arrival at school please)\nA packed lunch for an indoor picnic\nAt least 2 water bottles filled with suitable\, healthy drinks.

Apply for a place online by clicking here. \nOur experience has showed us that it is really important that you put down more than one preference for a secondary school\, as sometimes schools are heavily oversubscribed and\, without a second option\, children are placed at schools in the city that are left with spaces after all places are allocated. This can cause unnecessary worry for children during what is already a difficult time whilst parents appeal for places at other schools.  \n
