DESCRIPTION:Our Inclusion Coffee Mornings continue\, open to all\, with a focus on Social Skills at home and school\, run by Julie Fearn from Autism Derby. Julie works closely with children\, parents and staff at Gayton\, supporting them in and out of the classroom with their learning goals and is running this session to offer support to parents following a successful coffee morning in October. Feel free to join us from 9:00am for a tea or coffee\, with the session running from 9:30-11:00am.

SUMMARY:Year 4 Trip to Tutbury Castle
DESCRIPTION:We have booked a trip for Year 4 to visit Tutbury Castle on Wednesday 30th November. As you are aware\, we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings this term in Year 4 and this trip will be a fantastic way bring to the topic to life. We will also be using the experience of the day as a stimulus for our creative writing. \nOn the day\, we will be travelling by coach and will leave school at 9:15am and will aim to return to school by 3:30pm. Children will need a packed lunch and a water bottle. Please send your child to school on the day with sensible\, warm clothing with their Gayton jumper or cardigan. We will be spending some of the day outdoors so a waterproof coat and warm clothing will be required. They do not need to bring any money with them but can bring a small amount in a named purse or wallet if they would like to buy something from the gift shop. \nWe would appreciate a contribution of £16 per child which would include the cost of the coaches\, entry to the castle and cover the cost of the workshops that the children will be taking part in. Payment can be online using your SCOPay account.
