Recently we hosted a heat of “The Big Quiz” Ten teams from about 5 other schools attended and Gayton entered two teams. It was organised by Mr O’Donnell and the children had to answer a range of general knowledge questions. At one point the two Gayton teams were in the lead! In the end we achieved joint 4th and 6th and we were very proud not only of the knowledge shown by our children but also by their polite and sportsmanlike behaviour. Well done to everyone involved.
